CB Antonio Cromartie is taking care of his legal troubles.

WR David Clowney speaks to Reuters about helping in Haiti.

WR Jerricho Cotchery talks about mentoring and former Jets WR Laveranues Coles.

RB LaDainian Tomolinson wanted to play for OC Brian Schottenheimer.

LT will be joining Gang Green's evolving offense.

FB Tony Richardson has re-signed with Gang Green.  With GM Mike Tannenbaum not giving clear answers to why RB Thomas Jones was cut, it seems like the team credits the success of the run game to the guys in the trenches - the linemen, FBs and TEs.  Remember, they also re-signed TE Ben Hartsock recently.

More connections after the jump.

Star-divide

Dave Hutchinson writes that the Jets still like FB Jason Davis, who has a chance to win the job.

RB Toby Gerhart will visit Florham Park this month.

RB Shonn Greene says his touchdown celebration wasn't meant to disrespect LT.

LT believes the Jets can win a championship.

Mr. T expects LT to play a lot.

Tim Graham blogs that LT is not so swift at the goal line and asks how much the old RBs of the AFC East can contribute.

AFC East Blog also looks at LT on the turf and in the cold.

TheJetsBlog.com has ideas on making LT earn #21.

Former Jets QB Brett Favre may have told LT that the Jets organization was great.

Check out this fan-made jersey tribute to #4.

Former Jets C Kevin Mawae has had a humbling off-season.

Steve Politi says the Jets need to get over their Jan Brady Complex.

TheJetsBlog.com cries, "Marshall, Marshall, Marshall!"

QB Tom Brady and his bunch are celebrated by their franchise.

Gary Myers writes about the need for "Coin Toss Gate" to boil over, with interesting tidbits about the Jets' and Giants' new stadium squabbles (locker rooms, offices, etc.)

Myers also confirms that the Jets will indeed host on Thanksgiving.

Both New York teams are still working on selling out the stadium.

njdevil7 warns about buying The Sporting News Draft Magazine.

Buffalo has signed LB Andra Davis and DE Dwan Edwards.

Buffalo's new 3-4 defense is shaping up.

Miami has added to their offensive line with G Richie Incognito.

The Fifth Down asks which team builds wisely through the draft.

Surprise surprise. Tanny claims that LD will get a lot of touches, and never claims that he will not start or that Greene is the starter. LD claims that he’s willing to accept a lesser role if asked, which means he was never asked. All ofthis means that LD will be the starting RB at the start of the season.

It’s the guys in the trenches. Betty White could run for 1,000 yards with T-Rich leading the way!!

Dude, why do you have to exagerate?

No way Betty White gets more than 600 yards even playing a full 16 games.

I have it on good authority that Betty White had a private work out with the Jets last week, and ran a 4.4 flat….just saying

Lol.

You guys reminded me of the coach from the movie Dazed and Confused. Says something like “my grandma’s stronger then you pussies, of course she’s 6’3, 240 and runs a 40 in 4.5 flat”

"Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring; besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. It's more democratic."

I love how the media try and create problems immediately. Greene and LT’s TD celebration, Cromartie banging into the back of Greene after the TD. They will come up with something for Brodney Pool soon.
