Jets Re-Sign FB Tony Richardson
Certainly makes all of us here at GGN happy. T-Rich is a very under-appreciated player and one of the best blocking FB's in the game. A quiet assassin that gives it 110% every time out.
No details on the length of the deal, or money involved. Will edit when the news comes across. Will most likely be a one-year deal.
Adam Schefter reported the news just minutes ago:
After signing RB LaDainian Tomlinson, Jets reached agreement with free-agent FB Tony Richardson, a good move on and off the field.

Dangit
Was hoping we could get him back here, oh well he can stay with my 2nd most favorite team. Good luck guys.
Well much as I loved that R. Wright signing
This is T-Rich we are talking about lol. J/K about the Wright thing. Why can’t the season start this upcoming weekend?
Ah, All Jets fans breathing a sign of relief
After the posts last week about the possibility of not signing Richardson, I got a little worried. This guy is a ROCK, we will provide a block every time he is called for it. I’m glad to see he is going to be opening up the gaps for Greene and LDT and maybe washingto to run through.
Good call T
And the home of the....
JETS
next year when we win the Superbowl it’ll be WTF? The Jets? Those Goddamn Jets won the Super Bowl?

congrats to you guys for keeping this marvelous player
Now, I will be cheering for you to get T Rich a SB ring this season so he can retire with class.
You sometimes learn something everyday.
This is why you lift all them weights. Parcells
I think...
this is the one of the most important signings because he plays a key role in the running game, I think this will help LT have a better year than last year. T-Rich is the most under appreciated player on the Jets.

I wonder if this will be his final shot, he said earlier this off-season he wanted to play for ‘one more year or so’…so seems to be saying likely one, but possibly two. Guess it depends how his body holds up, guy is 39 in December.
