Around SBN: Jeremy Lin Continues Rampage, New York Wins On Road

I know a certain someone who is going to be delighted with this, he also has a workout planned with the Broncos on March 24th.

Jets will work him out on March 30th at Stanford.

"In addition to his workout with the Broncos, Scout.com has also learned that Gerhart will work out for the New York Jets at Stanford University on Tuesday, March 30th."

Man crush?

Yeah. So what…

“The 6-foot, 231-pound Gerhart stormed onto the scene this past season after he had 343 carries for 1,871 yards and 27 touchdowns. Often compared to former Tampa Bay Buccaneers fullback Mike Alstott, the winner of the 2009 Doak Walker Award, Gerhart surprised scouts at the NFL Scouting Combine with his athleticism and straight line speed; he ran a 4.55 in the 40 and recorded a 38-inch vertical in Indianapolis.”

Don’t need to sell him any more to be Crack. That’s why I’m hoping we can get Adalius Thomas in, Douglas back in so we can look at some of these players early.

Crackback is going to rent a blimp so he can watch the workout from high above. Then he will parachute into the workout and beg Mr. T to draft him. It will happen!

I don't like the Mike Alstott comparison

I’m pretty sure it’s just because they’re both white, but Mike Alstott was like pretty much the most overrated player in almost league history and made like 238472934 pro bowls because he was listed at FB instead of HB like he should have been. Gerhart looks way better than that, and the comparison—although meant in good nature—is a poor one and sort of degrades him in my mind.

FYI.

Gerhart gained more than 200 yards per game against ranked opponents. Just sayin.
