LT II $

The word out here is that LT is getting 5.2 million dollars for 2 years. Not quite what I would have given him, considering his numbers have dropped quite low. I would have liked to keep TJ over LT. But, it certainly is not a bad signing. I think he takes over for Thomas, not Washington. This should be an interesting year coming up. D Sharper would be a nice addition before the lockout.

Yer I think the rumours that have yet to be confirmed is that it is $5.2 with incentives to reach $5.7

whoa

the higher the salary, the less I enjoy the move! He’ll at least make a few catches and warrant some attention for opposing D-fences; at least early in the season.

Why would you care about how much money somebody else is going to pay

LT in an uncapped year? I don’t get why money keeps getting brought up here, it was an issue of Jones or LT, and management chose LT. Besides that, LT brings a lot more revenue then Jones would have into the organization so it’s not like that isn’t part of the factor when deciding somebody’s contract.

The reason they decided to release him was because he refused to restructure his contract. Thus, it was about the money in letting him go. Signing LT, not so much about the money given. I agree he’ll be bringing in more revenue though. He’s LT.

You guys are all underestimating him though I think he still has gas in his tank and he well show us that we were grateful enough to sign him I hope im right.
