Report: LT is a Jet

According to several reliable sources, LaDainian Tomlinson is a New York Jet.

These reports have come from Tim Graham, Chris Mortensen, and The San Diego Tribune. From what I have heard, it sounds to be nearly the exact deal Thomas Jones was asking for from the Jets. This was a two-year, $5 million deal. This deal could be official and done by this afternoon. Word has it, they just need to finish dotting the "L's" and crossing the "T's".

However, if this signing does take place, Leon Washington could be traded to a team like the Minnesota Vikings. LT plays very similar to Washington and would be used in screen packages and runningback routes. Keep an ear out for any Leon moves in the future.
