Around SBN: Fighters React to Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Today 9 teams will host their pro days. Michigan and TCU are the two that should interest the Jets the most. Brandon Graham and Jerry Hughes will both be working out today. I can't confirm that the Jets have representatives there (yet) but I think we can be pretty confident they are.

The Jets did visit Ohio's pro day yesterday where the main event was Taylor Price, the WR who took part in all drills and was a perfect 12/12 catching the football.

1. Arizona 2. Eastern Washington 3. Jacksonville State 4. Michigan 5. Ohio State 6. Oregon State 7. Purdue 8. TCU 9. Urbana

Oregon St

has the 2 Rodgers brothers, one scat back and one receiver, both very explosive, I don’t know if they are entering the draft, but the scat back would be a great Leon replacement if we end up going that way.

I think they are staying in school, not seen their names in any draft articles or anything like that.

Hoping Hughes has a bad day and he falls to us.

Updates

Sorry it has taken so long, been pretty busy with some work I have to do, and on LT watch, but here is what I was able to find from today that interest Jets:

  • Brandon Graham did not participate today, his hamstring is still bothering him. He will work out on April 8th.
  • Donovan Warren decided to run the 40 even though he has been struggling with an ankle injury. using someone else’s cleats he ran two mid 4.5 times
  • Warren also admitted that he had a formal interview with the Jets at the combine, and that the meeting went “Very Well”
  • Jerry Hughes did not participate in anything other than position drills. He will stick with his combine results at the other parts. However he did look smooth and impressed all scouts with those position drills
  • Can also 100% confirm that the Jets sent a representative to the Purdue pro day.

Fingers still crossed for Hughes. Guy is just explosive off the edge.

Right now he is sitting right where we are picking, end of the first, start of the second……

I think he’s our guy personally, at least I hope he is

Hell yeah Purdue!! I know Mike Neal’s not going to happen, but maybe consider CB David Pender in a later round?

Or maybe I could just be happy with Dustin Keller.
