Eagles & Marlin Jackson agree to terms, according to team.- Chris Mortensen

So I guess he didn't need/want to hear what the Jets had to say. Not exactly upset about this, he was a distant 2nd in important visits today. Good luck to him with the Eagles.

Oh think they will let him leave without a contract? I guess Ryan doesn’t feel that Atogwe can fit into the system?

I’m not sure to be honest, I hope not, I really think Pool could be a great fit. I think with the concussions issue, we might be able to get him at a franchise friendly contract, where as Atogwe is going to watch $6-7 mill per….

not sure why u are hung up on the $.

why do people feel like u are still working under a cap? spend while u can! if u are worried about the future cap, u can front load the guaranteed money and get what the hell u need!

I don’t care about the cap or the $$, but it seems the team does, you do know I’m not the one putting the contracts together right???

oh !..you only play one on t.v..........

wait!!!how do you have that insight? every move the jets make, is to sell PSLs. so im not so sure that saving money is a wise move, nor do they.anyway it was just a question.

Hah I was just messing, having a problem spending $$$ is the only logical reason I can see as to why we haven’t been all over Atogwe….

Any word on Pool yet?

Not yet, I asked some guys if they had an exact time for his visit and nobody knew, I think we will start to hear some things in the next hour or two, maybe not about a contract but at least how the visit went.

Not terribly excited about the guy. Seems ok with you guys so is ok with me then. If he’s an upgrade to what we have and is relatively cheap we gotta pull the trigger.

Your lack of excitement can be used to balance my excitement out Crack lol, while I would prefer Atogwe, Pool ranks up there with me as being one of the most undervalued, unappreciated safeties in the league.

Well the Pats re-signed Faulk, the Bengals grabbed Bryant. And here we are a whole 3 days since we made a big splash. Something has to happen.

We definitely are taking a breather right now, sure Mike has some things planned.

Asked Manish again, and he said that nothing has come out involving Pool’s visit yet, but as soon as it does he will let us know.

Mike T’s got me pretty spoiled. Some teams can go an entire offseason with making any moves and here we’ve already made at least three significant moves with TJ, Cromartie, and Rhodes, and I’m still dying for more. Like Crack said, it’s been a whole THREE days. Hopefully Pool’s visit goes well.
