I think the headline that Ryan’s act could wear thin is misleading because it isn’t an act it’s who he is and I find it very refreshing as opposed to the Bill Belichickck act which truly is an act when he’s in public.
Rex’s problem was losing track of the fact in this technological age when you’re in the public eye and in a very public setting someone will at least have a camera or video phone at their disposal and will be eager to use it.
If they do get something salacious plastering it all over the internet will be a given.

I read somewhere that Jay Glazer was with Rex when it happened (it was just a comment from somewhere and I couldn’t find an actual source). Anyway, apparently Jay said that the fan was spitting at them, too. The guy deserved more than a finger in that case. I’m glad the league didn’t make a bigger deal of it.
