Those fans who were saying how horrible it was in the video, I wonder how they felt before and after the AFC Championship game, Mark Sanchez has not arrived yet by any means, but then again it wouldn’t be a Jets draft without some portion of the fans having a problem with the selection.

Sanchez seemed really excited to be a Jet. He did an interview a couple of days before the draft with SNY. He talked about how the Jets would be the perfect fit and the kind of offense he likes. Of course, I haven’t seen interviews he did regarding other teams, but he seemed to really want to be a Jet to me. I’m still hunting for that vid, and hopefully I can find it and post it.

i said we should sign travis laboy last season. we should add him for some depth at outside linebacker/defensive end. he could be of some good value on pass rush situations. since he is a cut player he doesnt apply to the final 8 rule. i think this entire offseason we should dig through other teams’ trash for role players and depth.

I agree Joey, would be a very logical, low risk/high reward type move to bring in LaBoy.

I’m just not too familiar with the guy though. How would you rate him?

Ran a 4.7 40 yard dash at the combine and did 35 reps with 225lb’s….pretty much sums him up, speed and strength. 34 tackles, 3.5 sacks his rookie season 9 QB pressures….he was a get up and after them type player, nice burst, and had a habit of getting into the backfield. 23.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles in 32 starts, obviously played in more but only started 32. If we bring him in and he looks healthy, I think you have to take a gamble on a player that has had success at an area you need to improve on. Not sure where his health is at the minute.

Did anyone hear?

ESPN is reporting Jets signed Nick Folk to a one year deal. I guess they couldn’t resign Feely very easily because he is set to become an UFA.
