Sanchez's Surgery Goes According to Plan

Mark Sanchez used his Twitter page to convey to his followers that the procedure he underwent today was a success.

Here is the tweet he sent out circa 30 mins ago:

Out of surgery. Doc says it went exceptionally well. Thx to Dr Montgomery. Thx to family, friends & tweeps for the love and well wishes.

Once we find more details, we will edit this post accordingly and post updates. But for now, we just want to pass on this "breaking news," and to let everyone know that the surgery went according to plan.

Good to hear.

Has any pro athlete ever been like "oh god my surgery went AWFUL"

No but sometimes in a surgery, you get in there and you find other problems, ones that you were not aware of before. It’s basically just saying, it was what we thought it was and it’s been sorted, and that is good to hear.

Yeah, if you take what they say at face value. I dunno why but for some reason I just never trust what guys say about their surgeries or injuries. I’ll feel better about it all when he shows up to training camp healthier than ever. :)

That’s why I’m surprised the newspapers just picked up on it and wrote about it. None of the articles I’ve read so far have anything saying they checked with the team or whatever to confirm it.
