Revis Island and Asomugha?
Nnamdi "however the hell you spell his name" Asomugha said he and Revis want to be on the same team. Tim Graham reported on ESPN.com. Just think we could trade Lito Sheppard and a draft pick to get him.
Thats where I have the problem
I'd love to freakin have Nnamdi Asomugha on our defense because we would be feared. The passing defense would be the greatest. The only problem I have is draft picks, this year we need to build through the draft. A wide out and an end maybe even a safety. But then again its not too often when you get a top corner in the league and it would force opponents to throw at Darrelle. Heck if the Kerry Rhodes thing doesn't work we trade him for Nnamdi. Still something just makes my stomach churn
Would you trade for Nnamid or not?

Al Davis may be clueless
but he’s not clueless enough to make Asomugha available.

I don't think
the idea of him being shopped is outrageous, but the thought that the best anybody would offer is Lito + a pick or Kerry Rhodes is laughable. Nnamdi will probably bolt asap (I believe he has 2 more years on his deal), and that team needs all the help they can get. It would take a massive haul of draft picks though, that’s for sure.

I can’t believe how much of a big deal this has turned into. I think it’s simply because Rex Ryan was around. I’m sure a lot of Pro Bowlers have said to each other, wouldn’t it be something if we were on the same team?
and the home of the... JETS!!!

look at my julius peppers as a jet post and see the striking resemblance?
beautiful in theory though:(
I say pack sheppard and TJ and a 2nd rounder for him, resign leon and keep kerry.

Why would a rebuilding team,
never mind a rebuilding team team with Darren McFadden, trade their mega star CB for a RB on the back 9 that we may end up cutting?

Trade idea from a Giants fan friend
he asked if we had any really bad, but really fast receivers – I suggested David Clowney – he said Al Davis would be interested in getting him for Awesemo

“I LOVE New York … as the next home of Nnamdi Asomugha, the Raiders’ Pro Bowl cornerback who apparently has his eye on joining the Jets.
Get rid of Nnamdi? The sanest voice in the NFL’s looniest locker room? The Raiders’ best player, at least among those who don’t kick a football for a living?
Yes, yes and yes. Do the deal, as long as Al Davis nabs a franchise-saving package of draft picks and players in return.
…
What could the Jets give up in return? They’ve got draft picks (29th overall this year, a first-rounder next year to replace the one Oakland gave up for Seymour in 2009). Other bait: an expendable quarterback in Kellen Clemens, a restricted free agent in wide receiver Braylon Edwards and a draft bust in defensive end Vernon Gholston, whom Davis might eye as a trademark reclamation project (along with the current JaMarcus Russell Project)."
