Your Decision: Scouting The Draft
I got through the main ones that I wanted to cover this weekend (week), so tomorrow, who do you want to discuss regarding the draft? The highest vote getter will get a post like the ones that have been done this weekend, and then we can discuss them further.
Also in the comments section, if you have a player in mind for the 5th/6th/7th round which we will be addressing later this month, then pop his name down and will get on it.
So vote away

David is currently calling all his buddies saying “VOTE FOR GOLDEN TATE. VOTE FOR GOLDEN TATE”
If that one does win, I may rec it before he even writes it (if possible). Will be an excellent read.

yeah, i dont remember reading any negatives in that article. haha. well, i’d definitely want to hear more on him. maybe a CB after? id really like to see who you would think could be a good addition there because i think that is probably our most glaring need. we have to find someone to adequately cover the welkers and garcon/collies.
Definitely looking forward to getting into the cornerbacks, haven’t been too high on the 2010 cornerback class passt Haden, but a couple guys looked real good this week at the senior Bowl, so will definitely get to one after tomorrow’s, whoever that may be. Looks like Tate is the early favourite though.

Just imo,
I think Robinson and Wilson end up better then Haden. I think all 3 will be very good.

We don’t agree on much regarding this draft do we lol, I think Robinson end up the worst of the three, with Haden head and shoulders out in front.

That's what's great.
Nobody knows. We can all be experts, but nobody knows. Even the Mel Kipers and Todd McShays of the world get this stuff wrong a lot of the time. It is so far from an exact science all you can really do is make the best educated guesses you can.

draft
since they are drafting 29th they should take the best player available out of the de,wr or cb, all 3 positions are needs, tate should be there and he could fill 2 needs wr @ punt returner!! plus the kis goes up and fights for every ball, not many drops
I like Tate but isn’t he kinda high profile? Haven’t we all had a look at him? I’d much rather see and hear about the other guys. Guys i’ve never even heard about, let alone have seen play.
Cmon Dave, your my go to guy. Your the rare draft expert that not only knows these guys but knows the Jets. Enlighten me, please. I’ve seen Tate, i like him, would love to have him. But i wanna know about these other guys.
Sapp
is the perfect example of the Elvis player. He’s what the front 7 needs to be one of the best in football history. That alone would take pressure off the secondary which also needs rebuilding.
After that my choice would be one of the available cornerbacks.
