Sprint Game Ball: You

You sat for 11 days. You got yourself fired up. You cancelled all plans for Monday. You expressed confidence in your team. You had to endure three hours of abject torture. You had to deal with all of the smack talk from your friends and coworkers. You had to listen to the media talk about how overrated your favorite team is.

That is why I am giving my Sprint Game Ball to you. You have earned it through all you have had to endure.

I can't give it to a player this week. I can only give it to a player who shows up. I didn't see anybody show up in green and white Monday.

Hells yeah I earned it. Got laughed at, pointed at, you name it. I got some mocking J E T S chants thrown my way. Spilled some beef stew on my pants. Didn’t drop a pass, miss a tackle, overthrow, forget a route, or get beat on a blocking assignment.

Oh yeah, you bet I earned it.

Rough

I was sooo confident. Didnt brag just KNEW they would step up.
The smash talk I received after the game from EVERYONE at my job.
Lost money to my boss who’s a Cowboys fan…
Had to listen to talk radio personalities…
Then that SOJ mantra that people love to throw out.

9 wins and people who fav team are doing cr@p are rubbing it in my face.
We are almost a lock for the playoffs with a win or 2.
Ugh… still felt like Brady put his foot up my butt…

They still have lots to prove. Especially to themselves..
