Payback?
The Pats stuck to their game plan. The Jets stuck to their game plan. I didn’t see much vertical passing by the Pats as the game progressed. I didn’t see any taunting or celebrations in the end zone after a score. I didn’t read about amy trash talk coming out the Patriots locker room (did hear some Jets comments, however).
I hate losing to the Patriots, but anyone who feels that they ran up the score is blowing smoke. This isn’t college, it’s the NFL. I would hope that the Jets would return the favor if the situation were reversed. You simply can’t tell a player not to give 100%. The real talk was (and should always be) the outcome of the game.
We got crushed, but let’s try to take something from this and get ready for the Fins.
