3 Jets to the Pro-Bowl
The Island, The Blindside, and the Center make the Probowl for the NY Jets.
Darrelle Revis was voted second behind Nhamdi Asomougha, Nick Mangold was First in the Voting while D-brick was Third Behind Joe Thomas (Browns) and Jake Long (Fins). Each of these players has been a huge impact on our team and our success. Revis has been Revis the past couple of games shuttting down everyone, Mangold is argueably the best Center in the League and D'brickashaw Ferguson has not let up too many big sacks, but has had quite a few holds. Some of those who were left out were Brad Smith, David Harris (AGAIN). Nice job to those players...take a look at the rosters though and I'm sure there will be some disagreements. CJ2K was left out, Logan Mankins even after his 8 game holdout is IN, and others were in and out. Check out the rosters here

Brandon Moore deserved to go. he's probably the best guard in the league
You got four Pats on defense, including Devin McCourty the rookie. I normally would be bitching about this happening, but lets face it, those guys have made plays when that team needed its defense to make plays.
Can’t believe Meriweather and Wilfork made it.
In an Ideal world I would have all ten fingers on my left hand so my right hand could just be a fist for punching.
Wilfork yes, Meriweather... wtf?
He’s not even playing Strong Safety for the Pats, and he’s been riding the bench for 3 or 4 games this year.
Wilfork, however, has been playing out of his mind. He’s been lined up at LE, NT, DT and RE, and the only reason he hasn’t got ridiculous stats is because teams run away from him. He lines up at LE, they run off left tackle. RE, off right tackle. They play keep-away.

yeah I was trying to explain what it was about wilfork (without much success) than CamO ask than who instead. While trying to support my argue, ment I realized I didn’t have much of one.

I found it interesting that Wilfork was low-down the list when the fans voted...
but when it came to players and coaches, he skyrocketed. He’s clearly rated highly by NFL guys.

Well lets face it
It’s all a popularity contest, only way to explain Ray Lewis over some other MLBs but players coaches and officials realize how good Wilfork is…But still Meriweather?

I would love to know why people say that every year. The year that Ray Lewis sees an actual major decline in his performance is the year that will make sense for me. Even in his advanced age (nfl-wise), he is still one of the scariest defenders in the game and is a perennial top finisher in tackles and impact plays. The only way to explain Ray Lewis over some of the other MLBs is, he is still better than they are, and that’s without even being as good as he used to be.

I meant from last year
Harris had a better year in every single way but he was snubbed and Ray got in

can't explain Meriweather
He was benched for 4-5 games during the season as a starter bc he free lanced too much.
Maybe the steeler fans voted him in for his stupid hit on Todd Heap.
Heck, Pat Chung, Sanders and Page have played better than Meriweather.

Meriweather was #2 or so in fan voting
So I guess he skated by because he was a Pro Bowler this year, and had a fair chunk of the fan vote.
It’s weird – he wasn’t playing SS at all this year, and was basically benched for 4 games for playing like an idiot. Someone on PatsPulpit ventured that the entire Steelers fanbase voted for him because he KO’ed Todd Heap in a king-hit. That’s as good a story as any.

He's also had a few Int's lately.. well.. one... the other got called back
It helps that was a Pro Bowler last year too. Much like politics, vote for the guy you voted for last year.
