Jersey Jets Fan is missing the point. Of course what people do behind closed doors is their business. But WHEN YOU FILM IT AND POST IT SOMEWHERE, it kinda takes the “behind close door” factor out of things.
Most people are also not the coach of an NFL team in NY either.

You are not wrong
The smart play would have been deleting the account to ensure that this didn’t become a distraction to the team. However, I don’t care that he didn’t delete it. They didn’t do anything wrong. They aren’t breaking any laws. The videos I have seen were not even obscene. A little odd….I think so…but to each his own. In my opinion this is a non-story.
The SMARTER thing would be...
…to not have put that online if you’re in the public eye, PERIOD. I mean, frankly, I don’t give a crap and what they want to do between them is fine by me. But he was already a prominent NFL coach from a well known NFL family, and his head coaching career seemed inevitable. Why put it out there like that? You know that your wife will get recognized some day, and your voice is pretty distinct. It’s just another example of people not understanding that when you put something on the internet, it is there forever, whether you try to delete it or not.

Again
I can’t argue with your points here either. It was not smart. I just don’t consider it wrong. Some people enjoy this kind of thing and to think that an NFL head coach can’t enjoy this kind of thing is a little asinine. I cannot stress enough that I feel neither of them are doing anything wrong here. They like what they like. I understand that they lose their right to privacy when they post it online, and I understand that people will judge them. That’s fair. They made their choice to post the videos (allegedly…just trying to cover my own ass). I just don’t care that they posted them and I don’t care what a married couple does with each other.
Of course what people do behind closed doors is their business.
Unless it’s Lawrence Taylor in a Motel Room.

Would you rather have Rex...
going out and selling or doing drugs or getting caught with a hooker and cheating on his wife? This just goes to show that after 23 years of marriage that he loves his wife and she loves him. They have a healthy marriage and thats that. Good for him. I hope when i get to 23 years in marriage that i have just as healthy of a realtionship with my wife. It’s not that big of an issue.
It is when you are the head coach of an NFL team, the last thing the Jets need is another black toe.

OH GIVE ME A BREAK!
You have countless of athletes getting arrested all the time, breaking laws and just being stupid all the time. This is is silly. Thats all it is. So he and his wife like to do this, why is it that all public people need to be ridgid and colorless and just bland. In my opinion this makes him more human. Its just silly that this is a story. What he did is nothing compaired to some athletes. It’s not like he was making hardcore porn.

Is it dull over at the GIants Blog?
Seems like there would be a lot to discuss there this week.

I doubt this will have a long-lasting negative affect on the organization, players or fans.
But RR’s two sons are going to catch all kinds of crap at school.
