This is pathetic. Can someone enlighten as to why everyone in the organization likes Schotty so much? All I hear from people about Schotty possibly being let go is that it won't ever happen because Woody, Rex, and Tanny love him so much. That makes no sense to me. It's obvious that he is single handedly killing all of Mark's confidence with his retarded schemes and play calling. The guy is just clinically retarded. How can someone as smart as Rex not see that Schotty has down syndrome? Is Rex going to sit back and continue to let this man kill any chance he has at elevating the Jets to greatness?
And I know I brought this up last week, but what are the serious odds that we actually consider McDaniels for Offensive Coordinator? I drool over the way he could develop Sanchez if given a chance. With the talent we have and with Callahan as our line coach, we would have one of the fiercest offenses in the NFL. Am I dreaming? Is the Rex Ryan era nothing but a meaningless little jolt of enthusiasm created by luck, coincidence, and an "unstoppable" defense? I don't know what to think anymore. I'm disillusioned with this organization as of now. God help us.
