Next week we travel to the Browns and what was in many Jet fans minds an easy game now looks like a very competitive one.  Not only because the Browns are playing lights out but because the Jets are playing like a very undisciplined team right now.  Our coaching seems to have taken a step back on discipline and game management, along with the bad play calling.  It also seems we can't ground and pound with authority lately.

Penalties gave the Lions extra chances and if the Lions didn't throw the incomplete pass and made a decent play,  it would have cost us 40+ seconds.  So if they didn't screw up there we really would have needed the 2 time outs the Jets squandered away. Bad play calling is another factor the Jets need to improve or it could be another uphill battle.  Seems the so called easy games are getting hard and the game with the Browns is an interesting one.

What's with the Browns the last 2 games they look like the SB contenders.  When they beat the Saints 30-17 it wasn't even close, they were leading 30-3 after 3 qtrs.  Against the Pats they took an early lead and every time the Pats look like they were coming back the Browns responded and pulled away.  Colt McCoy was a real good QB in Texas and if he gets more confident  week by week he could really turn out to be good QB.  He is managing the games well and the last 2 games has no Ints.

The Browns have also been playing Defense and Offense with inspiration and confidence.  If the Jets play like they can and control the line of scrimmage we'll be very happy with a victory, but they way the Jets looked the last 2 games and the way the Browns look the last 2 games we should be in a real dog fight.
