GGN Pick 'Em
Storylines abound in the GGN Pick 'Em. A 10-2 week puts Birch into a first place tie with Wyatt. Everybody is within 5 games of the lead. Will dvdvil pick any games or watch his chances go up in smoke?

I can’t speak for DW, but I’m sure people will be asking about the Browns pick.
I don’t think Mangini is a very good coach, but there’s always one or two games a year where he developed a masterful gameplan. I’m thinking this week against his sworn enemy he’ll have the motivation to make it one of them.
Also New England isn’t blowing teams out. They’re eventually going to get caught in a close game.

That was a bit of a suprise, but not as suprising as the Seahawks.
Isn’t their back-up starting this one. Seems like a back-up QB against the Giants D-line is like feeding chum to a school of sharks.
Surprised
Nearly everyone took the Bills, that everyone took the Falcons over the Bucs and everyone took the Vikings over the Cardinals.
I just can’t believe the Bills will win a game, There’s something I like about Freeman and this is an important game, and the Vikings have the wheels coming off far worse then the Cardinals.

The Bills have shown signs of life. If we’re going to be realistic, they are a top five pick team, but I don’t think they’ll be 0-16. Chicago looks like a paper tiger.
The wheels might be coming off the Vikings worse, but they also started from a far higher point and have more talent than Arizona.

Chicago is a paper tiger, but it’s a hungry paper tiger going against the Bills. I think they’ll win by a lot, despite the fact that the Bills have been showing a lot of grit lately.
If Harvin isn’t good to go today, I don’t see Minnesota winning.
I have an upset pool with some friends, we pick one upset game each. I took the Bengals to edge out the Steelers. They know each other well, and sometimes all it takes to fix a massive slump the likes of what Cincy has gone through this year is a tough divisional game. Not that I expect them to compete all year, but I do think they show up with all their talent this week.
My Picks
Texans, Cardinals, Saints, Browns, Buccaneers, Bills, Ravens, Seahawks, Colts, Chiefs, Packers, Steelers
and the home of the... JETS!!!

The Giants have a history of losing in Seattle. That is the only reasoning I can think of.
