Brandon Moore Makes Peter King's Midseason All-Pro Team

Jets' RG Brandon "Meat" Moore has been named to Peter King's Midseason All-Pro Team which will be featured in the Nov. 8 issue of Sports Illustrated.

Moore is coming off an exceptional game against the Packers, and has quietly had a phenomenal season (along with D'Brickashaw Ferguson).

The text behind King's rationalization of his selection is hard to read, so here it is:

"Wondering why LaDainian Tomlinson has looked reborn? Moore, an eighth-year pro, is a strong drive blocker in New York’s running attack and never errs mentally."

This isn't about the top 3 WR's in the game, Otherwise Marshall would be there instead of Bess

Roddy white is the elite all around WR, Lloyd stretches the field, and Bess the #3 guy is in the slot. No need to get so mad.

Never seen what everybody sees in this guy. He looks like a real fat guy who takes up space. He gets no penetration and makes about one tackle a game. That sounds like a homer pick.

I think that this "All Pro" list...

…is of players who have exceeded expectations. I think a lot of people would take Peterson over Foster, Mangold at center, and a few players over Yanda. It mostly consists of players who have moved their names into “top player” consideration with big improvements over last year. They’re playing extremely well, but the players who are playing better are expected to play better.

Think of a C student who manages an A- and compare him to a regular A student who gets an A. Yeah, the A student is better, but it’s nice to point out the most improved players who are playing at a top level.
