BREAKING: Jets DO NOT Submit Claim For Moss, Put It To Rest
While we don't have ties to the Jets, you heard it here first and you've heard it all week. People love to speculate, there were even rumors this morning that "a couple of Jets spoke to Moss yesterday."
Who cares.
We state the facts, because we don't want to waste your time and speculate about things that aren't going to happen. The majority of the defensive unit despises him, he wouldn't fit in with our receiving corps, and he's a locker room cancer.
Now let's move on to Detroit, please.
RichCimini Rich CiminiBreaking: The #Jets did not submit a claim for WR Randy Moss or LB Shawne Merriman, according to league source.

Obviously this means...
That they are going to sign him as an FA when he clears waivers…

And honestly, I think NE would claim him with the last spot if it got to that, don't see any chance of him clearing waivers.

NE’s been fine without him, they’d never sign him.
I think Chicago, Cincy or SD, all Desperate teams that need to win now.

What about the Rams? The most quiet 4-4 team in football would be an instant contender with a #1 WR for Bradford.

Assuming AJ Smith is still in charge of the Chargers
Which he is, there is no way Moss will be signed to SD.
It would take him longer to learn the playbook than it will take VJ to get back. And we don’t need two disgruntled receivers in the locker room. Plus it’s not the offense that is the issue.
So unless Moss cleans up his act in a few days and wants to be an ST ace, he will not be wearing a bolt uniform.
6/10/2010 - Tra Thomas signs with the Chargers
8/21/2010 - Tra Thomas retires.
That was fast.

Very good point -- I agree with this post
….as an aside, AJ Smith is still a huge douche.

He did one thing right with the Chargers though....
Nobody will get down on them for melting down in the playoffs.

no way would NE claim him
why would they claim him to pay the remaining 3.44 million hes owed when they can pass and then sign him for 400k and have minnesota pick up the tab? he clearly wants to be back in bradys pants so if he did clear NE would be his #1 choice
DOES THE FACT THAT WE ARE MENTIONING US NOT PUTTING IN A WAIVER REQUEST FOR HIM MEAN THAT EVERYONE
before us passed on him also?
Get busy winning or get busy losing.
Naww, each team puts in their own individual claim... doesn't matter what everyone else is doing.
