500 Articles And One Year Later: Thank You, GGN

Just one year ago to this very week, I contacted John, and joined GGN as a staff writer. It has been a more than pleasurable experience thus far, and I thank you all for that.

I've seen this site grow tremendously in my time here, and I hope that continues. Comments are higher than they've ever been, and I've seen our Twitter followers grow from 50 to 565. As we grow, we will be able to give back more to you all via giveaways and the like, which you will be seeing more of in the very near future as well.

We try to provide content for you all on a daily basis. At the same time, we learn things from our readers too, that's why we encourage feedback via commenting as well as RECs to discern which of our articles are getting the most attention. We have a great team of writers and moderators and all of them do a great job collectively making the site what it is, everyone plays their part well.

So with this, as I publish article No. 500 and watch the Miami Dolphins get pummeled on national TV, down 16-0 with their season essentially on the line, on behalf of GGN I want to thank you all for being such a loyal fan base. I hope for many more good months, as well as a Jets Super Bowl win in 2011!

(Note: John put in the hard work and started this site, and it has really shown. He will be hitting a bigger milestone this weekend, as he has me crushed and will be going for No. 2000!).

wow, 500 in a year? That’s almost a post and a half a day. Is that regular stories/Fanposts/Fanshots all combined or just full stories?

It's not just the sheer numbers....

They by themselves are incredible. It’s the breadth of information that is disseminated quickly and efficiently. I go to this site looking for all things Green and am never dissapointed by the writers or the other fans (well, the vast majority of fans)!

Seriously, congrats on you guys pumpin’ out the info. You need to know that it’s appreciated. All I can do is rec.

I truly enjoy reading this site. It is the only blog that I view on a regular basis. Each of the staff contributes terrific information and makes being a Jet fan even more fun.
