LaDainian Tomlinson and Tony Richardson Sit Out Practice

The Jets sat a pair of veteran backs out of practice today, but Rex Ryan says there is no reason for concern.

Tony Richardson and LaDainian (Tomlinson) did not practice today.  It was not injury-related.  I’m just holding them out a little bit.

It's a smart move. These guys play such a physically demanding position that it's good to save them the extra wear and tear, particularly with a short week coming up. I would like to see this continue even after the Thanksgiving game against the Bengals.
