Who Powered Through: Jerricho Cotchery
I have seen receivers play hurt before. How many times do you see a receiver suffer a painful groin injury on a play, involutarily pull up lame, and then have the presence of mind to break off his route to get open when his quarterback extends the play?
What if that play was on third down when the offense needed a play to extend the drive? What if it was in overtime with the game hanging in the balance? How about the throw forcing the receiver to make a diving catch?
The topic of this week's "Who Powered Through?" feature was an easy choice. Jerricho Cotchery wins hands down.

We thought it was just a regular diving catch at first.
Even the announcers had no idea what Jerricho had to go through until they saw the instant replay. Amazing, you see Jerricho do this, but then you see Moss and TO give up on plays all the time, even if their QB extends the play.
Darrelle Revis once won a game of Connect Four in three moves.
Truly amzing how guys payed many more millions and are considered the best WR’s in the game, when they will never ever make a play like that. As bmbath01bath said, Moss and TO would have gave up on that play and would have faced a 4th down. Props to J-Co, just a great play. To have a groin injury, then re-route yourself, dive full extension and make an unbeilivable catch? Just ridiculous effort and heart.
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!!!!!!
Not an exact quote but...
J-Co said in his SNY interview that he was motioning to Sanchez that he was hurt, and Mark told him to go back inside, and J-Co was thinking, are you kidding, I just hopped eight times the other way!
and the HOLMES of the... JETS!!!
