Talking Points Announcers Will Beat Into the Ground Sunday

This week is a talking point for lazy announcer bonanza.

You know, Eric Mangini was the head coach of the Jets before Rex Ryan.

You know, Jets head coach Rex Ryan and Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan are twin brothers.

You know, Mangini brought Eric Barton, Abram Elam, David Bowens, Kenyon Coleman, Jason Trusnik, and Chansi Stuckey to the Browns from the Jets.

You know, the Browns traded Braylon Edwards to the Jets last year.

You know, the Browns and Jets made a trade on Draft day in 2009 that got the Jets the pick they used to take Mark Sanchez.

His time with the Jets....

He did a few good things player personnel wise, but does anyone believe he would’ve taken the Jets to the next level? Doubtful.

Much like another current NFL coach on Seattle who coached the Jets a number of years ago who will remain nameless.

what? Considering who followed Carroll, I think the Jets could have given him 2 or 3 more years. Do you really think he would have done worse then 3-13 and 1-15?

Probably not, but the only two choices were not Kotite and Carroll.

The mistake of hiring Kotite doesn’t mean getting rid of Carroll was necessarily the wrong move.
