Now that we've all been pleasantly surprised by Tomlinson's resurgence, it raises the question of just how good he is going to be over the rest of the year. If LT can keep on playing as well as he has, the Jets are in a very strong position. If he can't, though, then Shonn Greene might have to step up sooner rather than later.
A few basic numbers; if he continues at his current rate, he will rush for 1364 yards this year. If he rushes at the rate he did the first three games, then he will get 1215 yards at the end of the season. If he rushes at the rate of his 4th game, then he will get an amazing 1937 yards on the season. If, on the other hand, he rushes at the rate that he did last season, then he will finish with 967 yards. Which, frankly, is still more than I would have guessed he'd get had you asked me before the year started.
