It does appear...
…that after all the talk about Sanchez scrambling and not sliding last year, he has become EXTREMELY reluctant to run with it, even if he has some daylight/first down yardage ahead of him.
Worst Officiating
That was some of the worst officiating i’ve ever seen. And the announcers were just as bad. That helmet to helmet on Leonhard was total crap, and to top it off, he didn’t have control of the ball on the way down, so it wasn’t a catch. The refs blew 2 calls on that play, and then Dierdorf went right ahead and said the refs explained it when they said the receiver had two feet inbounds. If that’s all the receiver has to do, then there is no posession rule and Calvin Johnson’s TD was and even worse call then it was.
Listening to Deirdorf and Gumbel makes me a little suicidal on occasion.
