I reached out to Executive VP Matt Higgins via twitter, and it seems like they have no plans to put the Jets logo at midfield.  I'm a little disappointed because the FieldTurf company seemed to brag that having the team logos at midfield would be a feature of the new stadium and seemed to imply that there would be no safety issues.  But I guess it's better to err on the side of caution.

The official team website says, it's all about the trenches.  Crackback said the same thing long ago.
