Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

A few predictions for the Cinci game

1)  Brad Smith isn't going to throw out of the Wildcat formation - they are talking about it too much, it's a decoy so the safeties will stay further back and give him room to run.  If he does throw it will be out of an end-around or something like that.

2) Sanchez throws for over 200 yards.  Everyone is focused squarely on the run and no one wants him to throw it.  There will be some playaction.  Probably more throws than the fans on this site will like.

3) Sanchez will throw at least one long bomb.  It will hit the receiver in the hands, beyond that, I don't know if it's caught.

4) Jets win.

I think your right

I think he hits Braylon for a 56 yard TD

I used to like the Patriots and Dodgers, then my balls dropped

Disagree with the first two, but agree with 3 and 4.

I think Sanchez goes for another 100-150 yard day, and got a feeling that Smith is throwing from the Tiger.

i hope smith and sanchez throw

hall and joseph didn’t get 6 INTs each and 57 combined pass defenses by stopping the run.

even great QBs have trouble passing on them. as good as smith may have been in college, he hasn’t been playing QB in the pros and i don’t see them giving him carte blanche to throw it against these corners unless it’s an incredibly wide open pass. especially as turnovers are so important in the playoffs.

RIP Slim.

Wow, that was excellent. Looking forward to your predictions for next week.

No Edgar, it's not your fault, it's the fault of the idiot that plays you

Pretty good predictions

Smith didn’t throw
Sanchez threw for 187 not 200 which was close enough
Sanchez threw a perfect bomb and braylon ran a great route and was wide open and the pass hit him on the numbers. Let’s hope he catches a few of those next time.
Jets won
That’s close enough to perfect for me.
Keep it up. Good work.

wow amazing!

You would of had all of them right if Braylon catches the pass…but Smith didn’t throw, I think they’re saving it
