Can't Wait 'til Next Season
There is no guarantee that the Jets will even make it back to the playoffs next season, but it's pretty close. The Jets just lost to the Colts in a grueling AFC Championship Game, coming out with dignity and self-belief. Yet people still don't believe in us for the 2010 season, but I'm sure the Jets will be glad to shock the world again.
The Jets will return with most of their staff and team, but you can go ahead and add some draft picks, and yeah Kris Jenkins and Leon Washington, two players who could bring that 9-7 record much higher. Mark Sanchez obviously improved during the playoffs, and in my opinion had his best game against the toughest defense he had to face in the playoffs against the Colts. I can't give enough praise. He should be able to learn from his mistakes from the regular season, and I see a very big year from the Sanchize.
I see the defense getting stronger, getting better, getting smarter, and getting faster. We do have a tough schedule in having to face the AFC North and NFC North, along with the Texans and Broncos as all of our non-division opponents. It won't be easy, but it isn't meant to be. Defense is key in those games against the Packers, Vikings, Steelers, and Ravens.
All the parts could finally come together in 2010, and I honestly would not be surprised to see a division title out of this team. I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I'm pretty sure that people are starting to believe in us.
Outside of maybe Miami. How can they not? Shonn Greene had his coming out party two consecutive weeks on National TV, the defense is what it is, a force, and we have Sanchez developing quite nicely. I think the only people who don’t believe in the Jets are Pats/Fins fans and people who don’t like Sanchez. I think the latter group is shrinking on a daily basis at this point.
"Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring; besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. It's more democratic."

Jets should be a Super Bowl favorite for 2010
Notice my sig, lol.
As long as Rex Ryan is coach, the Jets will be good. They’ll be even better the more Sanchez improves, as was evident in the postseason. I’m really excited for the future of this team!
2009 Dallas Cowboys: better than the Philadelphia Eagles
2009 New York Jets: my super early just-moments-after-the-Colts-game trendy Super Bowl XLV pick; oh yeah, also better than the Dolphins
2009-2010 Dallas Mavericks: 57-25, even though they beat the Celtics and then lost to the freaking Raptors...
