Better than Indy?

Even for Rex, this seems a bit brash. I think he means that the Jets will PLAY better than Indy, although clearly one player dominates Indy. Does anyone think that a Peyton-less Colts would have come this far? The Jets also have a more balanced team.

Sorry to read about Matt Snell. But he’s really no different than any of the other players of that era who were unprepared for life after football. While it is a sport, it is also a business, and in many ways he was more fortunate to be a part of Jets history. Once he retired, he was unable to parlay his popularity or adjust to “civilian” life. He is fortunate in that he doesn’t appear to have the debilitating injuries that the NFL deny is their responsibility.
