They will play Indy again in "a real game."

The team always had faith in themselves.

Steve Serby: HC Rex Ryan isn't here to kiss Peyton Manning's ring.

LOL it's funny to me how people are still calling us one of the worst teams to ever make the playoffs

Most of the stories I read lately have been pretty pro-Jets or at least giving them credit, but then you read the comments by readers and it’s like as if the last month hasn’t happened.

I mean… seriously? Even after we ended the season as the top defense and the top rushing offense? Even after we annihilated the Bengals in the last game even as they played their starters in the first half? Even after we dug the blade even deeper a week later when they DEFINITELY had something to play for? Even after we held one of the most prolific offenses in the game that hadn’t scored under 20 points all season to just 14 points? You’re still not giving us any credit?

And then people wonder why we’ve all got chips on our shoulders.

Have you ever read the comments section on a ESPN article, it’s truly terrible, it actually makes you wonder whether these guys are sports fans at all

hey charger fan here

Finally got enough nerve to turn on ESPN. My sports hangover is gone and I can come over and say I hope you guys ruin Indy. You guys made the Chargers look like a completely different team…Good luck!!

Know what that feels like, 48 hours usually does the trick for me too. Appreciate you coming over though, and let’s hope we can stop the Colts this weekend.

and the home of the... JETS!!!

Rich Cimini blogs about the chant:

At that point, Tony Richardson, the oldest player on the team and a former Chief, got the team together for its traditional post-game cheer: “One, two, three … and the home of the Jets!”

The Jets have been doing that cheer for years. They got it from the Chiefs. I’m not sure if they do this anymore at Arrowhead Stadium, but the crowd always used to chant “Chiefs!” to punctuate the last line of the national anthem.

From what I know, the Jets only do that cheer for wins. My wife and I alwasy do our own after Jets wins. And they’ve been doing that way before T-Rich was there. It goes back at least as far as the Herm Edwards days. They always showed them chanting it after Jets wins on “Jets 24/7”, but after losses it would be 1, 2, 3, teamwork or something.
