Rex on the Team's Health

Rex Ryan sounded confident when speaking about the health of his roster.

- Other than Shaun Ellis being limited today in practice, every other Jets player who will play Sunday practiced in full today. Said Ryan, "We’re healthy and ready to roll."

That's big. There are many reasons getting one of the top two seeds gives a team an edge. One of them is the bye week to rest up while the next opponent gets beaten up in a Wild Card game. The Jets seem to be headed West in tact.

One thing that probably helps is the extra day. Remember, the Jets played on Saturday last week. That gives them an extra day of rest compared with their usual Sunday to Sunday week. Gang Green could certainly use Leon Washington or Kris Jenkins this week, but I don't think the team's physical condition is going to be a factor heading in.
