I guess we’ll know soon enough what Rhodes qualifies as a “big announcement”. Trading Clemens for draft picks is not big news, so I hope “a body” is attached to the deal. I won’t feel bad about picking up ANOTHER quarterback with no experience (O’Connell) if we can move Clemens for some value. If they want to carry 4 QBs into the season, look for some experience next time (cough, cough, GARCIA!).

Interesting, in the Jets press release they mentioned that they had interest in the last draft for O’Connell. He was taken in 2008, 3rd round. We picked up Ainge in the 5th round same year, so I wonder if Tannenbaum sees Ainge as the next best to O’Connell. Both are 6’5" QBs. I would love to see them battle it out for the 2nd spot and see what O’Connell can do. My allegiance is still with Ainge though!

Or, maybe the Patriot traded the Jets Randy Moss for our 1st round pick next year. I hear they are trying to amass the entire 1st round. (just kidding guys)
