Jets Do Their Talking on the Field
The Jets are in first place all by themselves. They did a lot of talking all week, and they backed it up.
Tom Brady said he does his talking on the field. Today he said for one week at least he's the second best quarterback in the division. The rookie totally outplayed the first ballot Hall of Famer.
The Jets said the Patriots aren't the dominant team in the East any more. They might come out on top when all is said and done, but they are in for their fight of their lives.
Mark Sanchez played a stellar second half.
The defense played a great game all day. They made Tom Brady look like Brooks Bollinger. Without some questionable calls early, the Pats may have only scored 3 points. Also, Darrelle Revis is the best corner in football.
We'll have more tonight with the official recap.

Nice job for your Jets. Very ugly for my Pats. Pressure was the key, IMO.

Under pressure
Agreed. It was nice to see Rex bring the house with a lead late. Should make for a fun game 2 in foxborough

Rhodes backed it up
Lets not forget that Kerry really came up with his ‘A’ game today, led the team in tackles with 6 solo and 2 assisted.
Power rankings for Jets players will be up tonight at some point

Hi everyone! Just joined. I became a fan of this team last week after seeing how DIFFERENT a Head Coach and QB we had now as opposed to past years.
I quit being a fan of this team when Vinny left, And CMart/Chrebet retired. I had no belief in Noodle-arm(and I was proven right time and time again) and we had GUTLESS head coaches…
Very happy to return as a fan ’cause I have a feeling we are entering an ERA of PLAYOFF-SUCCESS….and Hopefully, it will end with one or two Superbowl success as well.
LET’S GO JETS!!

Everyone likes fair-weather fans
And I wouldn’t say Mangini/Edwards were “gutless,” I’d just say they sucked as head coaches and didn’t know how to bring in the right personnel to fit their scheme, especially on defense. And Pennington gets a bad rep, but he was a solid QB for us. We would have been in the AFC Championship game with him in 04 if Brien makes one of two field goals.

I dont agree with Herm being called gutless either
Not a huge fan of Mangini, but it wasnt too long ago when u guys were calling him Mangenius. Those two coaches led us to a lot more playoff appearances than we were used to. Kudos for no Prevent at the end. I Hate The Prevent.

no prevent
Ditto on the “no prevent” at the end of the game. Quit being a fan???? What is that? Jets fan to the end.

Great game today. Our defense made Brady look very ordinary, and, Mark played well, and, didn’t make many rookie mistakes. The only thing worrying me now is, what happened to our run blocking? When they get that straightened out, the rest of the league better watch out. Go, Jets.
