Well, the Patriots high-powered offense took a huge blow before kickoff without using any installment loans. Wide receiver Wes Welker, who played last week despite a mysterious knee injury, is inactive for Sunday afternoon’s AFC East showdown at the Meadowlands.
For the Jets, Erik Ainge, who felt under the weather all week, is inactive. Former Patriot Kevin O’Connell will be the Jets No. 3 (emergency) QB.
