Free-agent tight end Kevin Brock, a Hackensack native, was claimed off waivers from the Carolina Panthers. He replaces Richard Owens, released after missing several practices with a leg injury. Brock had 49 catches for 541 yards and four touchdowns over the last two seasons with Rutgers.
Why not? The more bodies you have, the better the odds you find an overlooked player.
