The Jets have released four backups as teams have until Tuesday to cut their rosters to 75.
The turk has started knocking on doors as the Jets cut four players late this afternoon: QB Chris Pizzotti, WR Huey Whittaker, LB Craig Kobel and S Nate Ness.
Pizzotti is the most notable name. I still don't get why they brought him back after cutting him the first time. He worked a grand total of one series and did not throw a pass. The team clearly didn't think that much of him. Why resign and not even give him a chance?
