The Jets have signed free agent offensive lineman Nevin McCaskill from Green Bay:

McCaskill He spent time on the Packers’ active roster for three games last season following a stint on the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad. McCaskill was signed as a free agent by the Buffalo Bills two years ago, spending one season on the Bills’ practice squad.

Mike Fladell's failed physical opens the door for McCaskill to make a legitimate NFL contribution next year. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
