2009 Jets Outlook: NOT GOOD!
Everyone! Since at least 2002, the Jets are on this horrible, HORRIBLE win-loss pattern. Every other season they do well, but every other season, they flop. 2009 is, indeed, looking to be a flop year.
- 2002 season: 9-7 (division, playoffs)
- 2003 season: 6-10
- 2004 season: 10-6 (playoffs)
- 2005 season: 4-12
- 2006 season: 10-6 (playoffs)
- 2007 season: 4-12
- 2008 season: 9-7
Do I really believe the Jets will flop in 2009? Not really...but the pattern is pretty frightening, especially considering the choice of QB's we have are between Kellen Clemens and a rookie.
P.S. - Can't make a post about this since there aren't enough words for a fanpost but I'm going to be at the Titans @ Jets game on September 27th! Woo hoo!!

Clemens, Sanchez
Theres a good article at CBS sports about why the Lions should start Stafford from the get-go. I’m not entirely sure I agree, but it makes some good points. I wonder if with a new coach and top QB pick is the Jets would find any of this logic applicable:
