Channing Crowder Takes Shots at Rex
The following is a little nugget from Friday. Miami's Channing Crowder apparently does not appreciate Rex Ryan's quotable nature.
It's only June, and we're already gathering bulletin-board material for the upcoming season, thanks to Rex Ryan. As you know, Ryan isn't shy about expressing his opinions. His latest headline-making quote came Wednesday in a radio interview, when he said, "I didn't come to New York to kiss Bill Belichick's rings."
Well, that quote, along with a lot of other Ryan quotes, have made it down to South Florida. Earlier today, speaking at a team function, Dolphins LB Channing Crowder had this to say about Ryan's "swagger-licious" attitude (a Bart Scott description).
"Oh, he's going crazy," Crowder told Ethan Skolnick of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "He's going absolutely nuts. I know it's his first chance to be a head coach, and I know he's excited about life. But, like I said, I've never played a football game in June in my whole life. So congratulations to him. He's the OTA, the OTA Super Bowl winner."
In addition, Ryan has a real Super Bowl ring with the 2000 Ravens. Crowder has never won a Super Bowl, real or OTA.

Wow.. 1st to comment?
As a Phin fan I do not really agree with Crowder’s choice to voice his opinion on Rex Ryan. I think for the most part it was just normal chit chat and not really a bold atack on Ryan or whatnot. The issue here is, as always the media trying to stir up stories and such to cause excitement in the off season. Its lame of the media. Players ar normal people, we all have opinions. I think Ryan has a big head and that swelling will deflate soon enough after the season starts. Now that I said this.. should the media take it and make a big story out of it? Crowders comment is what it is.. take it for face value. It was a player, a normal person just voicing his opinion on something. It was not news worthy any more then what I just said above.
Good luck this year jets, I cannot wait to watch some more good Phin/Jets games !!

Nice analysis
The media definitely likes to stir stories at this dead time of year. It’s all in good fun and should add a little extra spice to the rivalry.

As if any more spice was necessary…it’s already quite the fierce rivalry as it was.

at first, i was thinking "someone slap him" (bomberjet) but then you buttered my betterside up. with all that sweettalking, i really liked that side of you better!
understand this, some qbs. play well in the snow & cold ie b.farve but also remember his early year’s he didn’t play very good in the cold game’s. he was from a southern school, he had to earn his stripe’s sorda- speak. kinda like racehorse’s some like mud, for instance (gale sayers) loved a muddy field, & chicago was a heaven for him. There’s no sweet talkng in football I call it the way I see it and talk it the way I hear it ; I agree, QB’S play better in there own element but it take’s a great QB to play in all the elements and FARVE was that QB in his prime dont get me wrong he did good with gang green but he showed his age at time’s I seen it in his laigs but he still got the arm . Now to my boy CHAD he dont have the deep thrit but he could play in any weather and specheally at GIANTS stadium . I gonna name four more all weather QB’S, MCNabb,Tom Brady,Roethisberger,Penniton all great QB’S.GOT TO GO >>>OVER AND OUT BOMBER JET!
