A Look at the Nation

This is a huge sports day, and football plays no role in it. I would like to give a shout out to some of the SB Nation blogs that are covering the big events.

It is baseball's Opening Day. Unlike many Jets fans, I root for the Yankees, not the Mets. Ed, the lead writer at our Giants blog, Big Blue View, just took over the head job at our Yankees site, Pinstripe Alley. Be sure to pay a visit for C.C. Sabathia's big debut. Tonight also marks college basketball's National Championship Game. Searching for Billy Edelin has wall to wall coverage. Carolina March takes a look at things from a Tarheel perspective.
