dont know about anyone else, but I was kinda hoping to see some RB, WR, offensive weapons, etc. on that list…

Jets have lots of WR and RB prospects already

The Jets aren’t focused on those positions because they are already loaded with talented but unproven WR and RB prospects. They needed a top end star WR but have plenty of guys to fill the roster with Cotch, Clowney, Stuckey, Brad Smith and Wallace Wright. Marcus Henry, Paul Raymond, and Huey Whittaker all have potential but will need to show a lot to make the roster. I think it’s more likely the Jets evaluate those guys and later pick up a vet that gets cut by another team if necessary.

There’s even less opportunity at RB assuming Thomas Jones eventually ends his holdout. TJ, Leon, Shonn and Richardson are locks to make the team, and I can’t see the Jets keeping more than one other back on the roster. Hopefully it’s either Woodhead or Caulcrick, who I believe can both be legit NFLers if they get the chance. Marcus Mason, a preseason star last year, was cut today.

I’m optimistic a few of the undrafted guys we just signed will help fill the holes left by trading away so many draft picks. This year four or five could legitamately stick.

agreed

though if we can find a blocking TE out of the mix, that’s at least one hole plugged.
I wonder if Tannenbaum et al have their eyes on any spring roster cut candidates.
