Brandon Moore Resigns
The Jets have resigned recently released right guard Brandon Moore to a 4 year, $16 million contract. This news legitimately came out of nowhere. It seemed like Brandon was going to seek a big contract on the open market, where he would have been in demand.
It looks like one of the AFC's best offensive lines will stay in tact after all. With the resignings of Moore and Tony Richardson, Gang Green has given Brian Schottenheimer all of the tools to build an elite running game should he actually decide to commit to it unlike last year.
There is much to like with this move. Moore at $4 million per year is much more reasonable than giving a solid but unspectacular interior lineman a $7 million roster bonus. In effect, the Jets found their replacement for Brandon, a cheaper version of the same player. This was a masterful stroke by the front office.

Good grief
If Bart Scott wasn’t enough you had to hog Moore also? I was REALLY wanting Moore and thought you guys let a gem slip through, but looks like not
Congrats on the FA signings & trade. On paper you guys sure know how to put a team together
