NFL.com's Adam Schefter says the Jets and Bart Scott have agreed to a contract

The Jets are expected to spend about $8 million per year on Scott

There is plenty to break down in the coming hours. Before any of that, it is important to acknowledge the work of the regime in making this happen. It is obvious the Jets decided they wanted Scott, and they closed the deal before any other potential suitors had the chance to state their case. It is nice to see this kind of decisive action.

Ravens fan here and this is the worst day ever for us. If you guys freaking sign Ray Lewis to, I am coming up there to kill Rex Ryan. How can he have the nerve to just take our players from us. Whatever, Bart will be nothing without Ray Lewis next to him.

you can have him at that price (you could have him at 1/2 that price)..he’s a system guy and unless rex has him teaching in front of the black board don’t expect any real fire power from him..he’s decent in pass coverage but he’s not getting to the qb or knocking rbs on their ass.
