Morning Links-2/10
-Profiles on some of the new assistants.
-Favre will not attend offseason workouts or restructure his deal. Both should be essential to him returning to the Jets. If the report is accurate, he is either retiring or forcing his way to Minnesota. Either way, he has probably taken his last snap with Gang Green.
-A story on Mike Pettine's path to becoming Jets defensive coordinator.
-An early look at some mock Drafts.
-Could Brandon Moore be on the way out? He is now the longest tenured offensive lineman on the team, but he is also the definition of average. It would not be tough to find an affordable replacement.
-John Harbaugh is confident the Ravens will keep Ray Lewis.

the Jetsgab link is just some guy making a prediction
Are the offseason workouts a full time for weeks at a time thing?

Right
but that goes to a Yahoo column that is a guy making miscellaneous comments. At least as I read it, it isn’t a report of anything.
FWIW Favre restructured his contract for the Packers at least once. He also offered to do it again to help the team bring in Randy Moss. I think Moss wanted 3 million guaranteed and the Raiders wanted a 4th round draft choice. If Favre wants to come back and Ryan wants him, I’d predict that he’d come for some off-season training but not move to NY to work out for long periods.
