3 Things I want to see Sunday during the game.
1. Jump out to an early lead.
I can't stress how vital this is. Our nightmare scenario is playing from behind and being forced to throw the ball downfield with an erratic quarterback. The more we throw it the less we get away from our strength, the running game. This won't wear down the defense as much and this exact scenario happened in their first victory over GreenBay. GreenBay fell behind and was forced to throw it. Rodgers was forced to throw it 40 times and didn't allow the Pack to run the ball with any consistency. Oh Yeah Kellen Clemens is no Aaron Rodgers.
2. Hold on to the damn ball.
Yesterday, John had a post stating that the Jets were in fact Number 1 in Pass Defense and Rushing and number 2 in pass defense. Pretty odd numbers for a 6-6 team, eh? Well a big reason is turnovers, we have 26. Thats a little more than 2 a game which is unacceptable. Im looking at you Greene. Braylon please secure the ball. Dustin please don't fumble at the one. And Kellen Clemens please don't play like Kellen Clemens.
3.) No lapses during the game.
We're fighting for our playoff lives I don't want to see a silly 5 yard offsides, or illegal contact 30 yards away from the play. I wan't to see intensity and not take a 1-11 team lightly, I want someone to really stick someone (I'm looking at you Rhodes), But Most of all I want to play a complete 60 minutes and see the defense have that killer instinct they havent had at the end of Miami Game #1 and The end of the Jacksonville Game.

The last thing I want to see is lackluster effort. I don’t care which QB is out there, who starts at safety, and with Leon and Jinx out. The squad we put out there represents the Jets, and I want to see a hungry team dying to make the playoffs and letting the Falcons, Colts and Bengals take notice of the danger ahead.
and the home of the... JETS!!!

Maybe Kellen should play like Roger Clemens?
Seriously, I agree with your whole post. I would also like to add that I’d like to see a TD catch from Jerricho and a run TD from Thomas Jones since they are my favorite players on offense, and I would like to see the defense forcing and recovering some fumbles.

Looks like the Jets did everything listed above.
I can live with 1 turnover.

Something else I want to see!
I want to see Kellen sitting on the bench. We won the game last week against Tampa Bay, but the win was not because Kellen was playing QB, our defense won that one for us.
Kellen sucks, every time he plays I cringe thinking ‘please don’t screw up’ as I watch the moment comes he either trips over his own two feet or lobs firing balls that no one can catch.
Coach I know not where this so called confidence you had in Kellen has gone, but I am sure it has evaporated now after seeing in him in play last week…. Please keep him off of the field and tap one of us Jets fans, we could do a better job then Kellen the clown.
