Update 1- NJ.com are reporting that it is an illness, that will not keep him out of the game on Sunday

Don't want to alarm anyone, and don't enjoy being the bearer of bad news, but Rich Cimini reported that Revis not only missed practise today, but was nowhere to be seen in the Jets Florham Park facility:

Pro Bowl CB Darrelle Revis did not participate in the early portion of practice today. In fact, Revis was not seen in the Jets' field house.

No explanation yet from the Jets. Maybe Revis is tweeting Chad Ochocinco, who has a running twitter battle with Revis. This morning on the conference call, Ochocinco told the NY press he's planning his greatest TD celebration yet. He says he's going to pull a Fireman Ed, putting on a Bengals fireman helmet and exhorting the crowd on a teammate's shoulder.

Let's hope that this is nothing serious and there is a valid reason why he was not practising today.
