Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey has heard the talk, that Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is the best at his position, with New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis close behind. Not so fast, Bailey says.
“Oh, I’m at least equal,” Bailey said in a conference call Wednesday. “At least.”
Someone should test that dude after the game, because he definitely is smoking something if he thinks he is ‘at least’ equal to Revis

Champ is great.
I obviously don’t think he’s at Revis’s level. But the way he’s dominated for the decade I have no problem with him saying that.

Everyone has to pass the torch sooner or later, he has been great, but he is no longer at the level of Asomugha and Revis. He may still think he is at the level, but watching him he isn’t.

Revis is assigned the opponents #1 receiver every single week...
and just erases him. No other corner can make that claim. And he’s on the number 1 defense in the league. No other defensive player impacts each game the way Revis does.
