Signs Point to Sanchez; Nothing Official
Mark Sanchez appears to be on track to start Sunday, but Rex Ryan is stopping short of naming a starter.
Sanchez, who missed last week’s game with a sprained right knee, practiced again today and took 75-percent of the snaps.
Ryan said Sanchez looked "much better’’ than he did in Wednesday’s practice, but he still wouldn’t name him the starter yet despite the fact that everyone in the locker room knows Sanchez is going to start.
Ryan remained reticent about naming Sanchez until he has full clearance from the doctors Friday.
That would be an increase in his workload. He took 50% of the snaps on Wednesday. That indicates he's on track to starting.

I like the idea of Atlanta prepping for both QBs...
It takes time away from their fully preparing to exploit the tendencies of either individually. I know its not really Rex’s style to play these kind of Jedi mind tricks, but he should play coy whenever possible. It gives us an advantage.
Do you have to prepare for Clemens lol
I think everyone pretty much knows it’s Sanchez. Don’t really mind him not saying anything though.

I know Clemens is nothing special, but...
He is in the NFL for a reason and i’m sure coaches are looking at film and trying to pick up tendencies and bad habits. Every minute of film-watching regarding Clemens is less time thats spent on Sanchez. And if Matt Ryan doesn’t play on Sunday, then you just might see Clemens get the nod as a game-time decision.
Crack the only problem I have with that is we play the Colts next week… and I worry about Sanchez coming back from his injury rusty. Remember he has had immense 1H struggles this year and against the colts if we fall behind by two scores at the half we’re probably done (unless they rest Peyton but they didn’t last night).
I know I shouldnt but have been looking ahead to this game for the last month or so as I’m sure the jets are also.

I feel like everyone is trying to make this the "record setting year",
i honestly don’t see the Colts resting Manning unless they put up a decent lead. It sucks but this is the hype year. We’ll see though.
